About Metrus Energy's Climate Efforts
Metrus Energy is a leader in energy efficiency financing for large retrofit and building upgrade projects at commercial, industrial, and institutional facility portfolios. Through our comprehensive Efficiency Services Agreement (ESA) financing solution, Metrus pays for all upfront and ongoing project costs, removing initial investment as a barrier and providing customers with the immediate financial, operational, and environmental benefits of impactful energy and water efficiency measures. Metrus’ efficiency-as-a-service financing solution has earned widespread acceptance in the marketplace with Fortune 500 firms and large institutional facilities. To date, Metrus has ESA projects in 20 different states that save over 1.2 billion kWh of electricity and avoid the emission of 833,000 tons of CO2.
